I've been sick for a week now, but the really bad part of it didn't happen until a few days ago. Sure, the hacking cough and constant congestion is one thing, but to add a fever and Liqui-Poo? C'est magnifique! I called my doctor - my wife made me because I'm a stubborn dipshit - and I was prescribed liquid hydrocodone and Avelox. Annoying fuzzy head from being sick + dizziness from Avelox + falling down stuporificness of Hydrocodone = not moving from couch all night.
Right now I'm still in a haze of sickness, and the wracking cough is causing all of my intracostal muscles to moan with pain, but I was able to check email and do a quick post in between the sweet heaven of drugs.
